Today is 23rd, May, 2019 - here is a new science fiction story written by Elamn, the title:The Blue Star with Two Suns (長篇幻想小說：兩個太陽的藍天堂 ﹝故事純屬虛構，如有雷同，只是巧合﹞)

我們總不能永遠困在宇宙的井底，那個看似是唯一有智慧生物的地球，就算我們想長居此滄海一粟，不奢望做發現新大陸的哥倫布到我們身處的浩瀚銀河航行，但燒光燃料的太陽終有一天演變成紅巨星把我們安身立命的大地吞噬，誰都知道我們的太陽系不是永恆的，科學家計算出直到現在它的年齡已經超過四十六億歲了。 筆者無法忘記某年七月盛夏乘搭從廣州到香港夜航客輪的奇幻旅程。那個炎熱的晚上困在擁擠不堪的船艙卧鋪，被外面的嘈雜吵架聲驚醒後無法入睡，便翻身下床走到甲板了解到底發生了什麼大事。原來河道滿佈不守法的小艇在撈捕河蝦阻礙航道，大船只好減速慢駛，船員們更被迫使用揚聲器大聲驅趕防止碰撞。筆者站在甲板上觀看了好一會，才把視線移向萬里無雲的夜空，看到奇妙的銀河橫亙在天上。璀璨瑰麗的銀河泛起繁星千萬顆，用肉眼去數永遠數不清。往後為了生活年復一年奔波勞碌再沒有機會親眼目睹這一大自然奇景。 自從美國人岩士唐登陸月球後，各式各樣的探測器紛紛升空探索我們身處的太陽系， 得到的都是令人失望的報告：先從地球出發前往最靠近太陽的水星說起，它只是一個光禿禿的石球，半邊永遠朝著巨大的太陽被高熱烤焦完全不宜停留。離開水星回程到金星，表面溫度已經超過攝氏四百度，天空下著硫酸雨，火山不停爆發，活像一個金屬大溶爐，是聖經描述的撒旦煉獄生人勿近，絕對不是詩人墨客讚頌的女神。最近我們的天體就是地球的衛星月球，人類勉強可以在它上面停留，但必須居住在密封的容器，如果找到大量冰封在地表下的水才能發展成科研和系內飛行基地。火星人的傳說隨著最近著陸埃律西昂平原﹝Elysium Planitia﹞的洞察號執行勘探後徹底幻滅。在火星居住成本高昂，只能作為飛往外圈行星的歇息基地。火星以外的木星，土星，天王星和海王星通通都是液態行星，除了美國“NASA”土星探測船“Casini”所搭載的探測器“Huygens”成功著陸在土星的衛星泰坦 “Tita

n”發現它擁有河流大海更會下雨看起來跟地球相似，可惜那雨水是液態甲烷，空氣稀薄成份完全不適宜呼吸。多年征空探索的結論是在我們的太陽系，只有地球才是我們的家園其餘的行星衛星都是不能隨便移居的。   星際航行的距離以光年計算，現今使用化學燃料推進的火箭速度比爬行的蝸牛還要慢， 如果發明了由核聚變脈衝引擎推進的飛船，儲備了足夠燃料，在空間不停地加速也得花上幾十年才達到接近光的速度飛行，接著又要花幾十年的時間減速才能準確地進入類似地球的能居住行星的軌道。留在地上監察的人不經不覺渡過了五六十年，看著船上的星際旅客個個青春長駐，只是年長了幾歲。打過有趣的比喻，出發時老子在地球年紀才二十歲，兒子剛出生；坻達目標行星時兒子變成老子而老子卻變成兒子，這就是光速的延時效應。筆者希望有生之年可以目睹人類踏足火星揭開它的神秘面紗。守衛西方耶教文明的美國沈睡了十多年，是時候醒來了！   作者：Elman 歐文 / 2019.04.1
